Sevenoaks Driving Lessons mean Test Pass for Sam

Sam passes his test at Sevenoaks with Chris Bensted from CB's Driving School. On the way home Sam tells Chris "My previous Instructor made me feel I could pass the test, but I wasn't sure about driving on my own afterwards. I just sat counting cars for a moment.
The result out of 30 cars:

8 NO lights
12 sidelights
10 dipped lights
(6 of these with faulty head/tail lights!)
All in reasonable FOG!

Please! As drivers take a moment to think!

I was talking to an ambulance driver the other day, he mentioned the obsession with PARKING (side) lights. He said that they stand no chance spotting these when responding to a shout, and the offending car stands no chance in an argument with an emergency appliance.
Modern headlights, if correctly adjusted, are not blinding so SHOULD be used when visability is reduced. FOG lights if visability is reduced to 100m or less.

And as for those with lights not working - regular checks SAVE LIVES. Take a minute to check, it may save your life!

100% pass

CB's Driving School pupil returns from test with ZERO faults! This is an achievement less than 1% of test passes make. But this goes to prove it CAN be done!
Chris worked together with the pupil on a schedule to suit him, focussing on the areas required in a way that centred on the individual, not just the test. Combined with hours of practice privately it was possible to make this outstanding achievement affordable, enjoyable and provide a life long skill to boot!

Female driver insurance takes a hike!

The European courts have ruled that it is illegal to charge women less for car insurance. Women under 26 are now facing a 25% hike in insurance premiums.
Will insurance companies now reduce policies across the board in view of their increase in profits? I strongly doubt it! I'm sure the naive individual who started this claim expected them to match the lower rates, where as those of us who are familiar with the world of insurance would expect nothing more than an overall hike.
